Better referencing of tenants anyone?

I think all landlords can agree that the better information we receive on tenants, the more secure our investment.
Not many know that it is the insurance companies that carry out the referencing, and it is always a concern when there is no incentive for the supplier to do a job effectively, let alone a disincentive!
